photo transfer

I'm the happy owner of a samsung grand prime (lol), although it's an old model, I'm not doing too badly

All the photos I take that I receive are automatically transferred to my SD card. But when I connect the phone to my mac (with android file transfer), I never know which are the last pictures transferred and I often end up with a lot of duplicates.

I have to sort each time, it's a bit annoying. Isn't there a trick to make sure that the last pictures are directly proposed (a bit like when you connect the phone and only the pictures not yet transferred appear)?
