Trying to send photos by e-mail from my Note 2 produces an immediate message "Sending failed", followed by another message "Failed to sign in to .....(e-mail address). Both Wi-fi and Mobile data are turned on. But sometimes the photos do turn up, but with an out of date address on them.

Check your email account settings as well as the SMTP setting. Make sure your account id and password are correct.

Thanks. I found that the address for incoming mail was not completed correctly and fixed it. But I still got the messages that the sending failed. However!! the photo immediately appeared in my email inbox. Maybe that fixed it, but doesn't explain the error messages.
