Difference between Gear S2 Classic and wi-fi only model?

I have a Gear S2 Classic Verizon model that I purchased used. I have service with an AT&T MVNO. Would I be better in any way to get a wi-fi only model since I won't be making any calls, or will the Verizon model work just as well on wi-fi as the wi-fi only model?

The only thing that makes difference is the cellular connectivity. The 3G model supported by an e-sim, so you could make a call with it. It also has a built in microphone.
