Motorola Moto G 4G — problem in coping / moving of photos from one folder to another witin internal storage

When I try to move or copy a photofrom one folder to another with in the internal storage, using Moto File Manger, I encounter problem. when I select one or many photos in a folder and click "move to folder" or "copy to folder", and select the destination folder, a message "Problem moving - items" or "Problem copying - items" is displayed. Can I get a solution ? please ....
