Both the Leather Case with MagSafe and the Wallet with MagSafe will be available in five different colors and for $59 a pop. For $49, you get the Clear Case with MagSafe. Let's now talk about what the iPhone 13 Pro has up its sleeve technically. With the 6.1-inch display, Apple finally gives us a refresh rate of 120 Hertz. Like the other models, the Pro also boasts the new "Super Retina XDR" technology and also offers the new ProMotion functionality. This adjusts the refresh rate between 10 and 120 Hertz, depending on what you're currently doing on the display. In other words, the Pro models get the adaptive refresh rate that we've long come to expect from Android flagships.
The display offers up to 1,200 nits of brightness and once again, the notch has been reduced by 20 percent compared to last year's model. The OLED panel has a 2532 x 1170 pixels resolution, resulting in a pixel density of 460 ppi. According to Apple, the battery should last 1.5 hours longer, which of course has yet to be confirmed in testing.
As for the camera, Apple continues to rely on a system that comprises three camera sensors: Wide Angle, Ultra Wide-Angle, and Telephoto, with the new telephoto lens boasting a focal length of 77mm and 3x optical zoom. Optical image stabilization is available in the telephoto and wide-angle sensors, with the latter even featuring Sensor Shift technology.
For the entire camera system, there is 6x optical zoom and just like the other models, the iPhone 13 Pro also benefits from the new Cinema Mode. The mode gives you the ability to shift focus from one object in the frame to another when recording videos. The Pro also makes ProRes video possible, as well as macro photos and videos, with Night Mode also being available on every camera.
The fact that the A15 Bionic is the new Apple SoC which powers the iPhone 13 Pro isn't really the standout feature. After all, the new chip is used across all four new models. Only the Pro models, however, rely on a 5-core GPU that Apple claims to be 50 percent faster than any other smartphone chip.
The Pro lineup also sets itself apart from the iPhone 13 and iPhone 13 mini with the aforementioned more capable camera and 120 Hertz adaptive display.
